“We have to protect democracy” is the ploy uttered by the depraved progressives.

There is no democracy in the Democrat Party. It’s all lies, just like Joseph Goebbels espoused in Nazi Germany. This ruse is repeated over and over from all federal departments and agencies. Ignore their demented call.
