The Department of Education was created in 1979 by the failed Democrat Party of Chaos President Jimmy Carter. This has been a disaster for American students. The World Economic Forum ranks The United States 48th in math and science education. This is not surprising considering the failed leadership of any of the teacher unions.
The days of teaching reading, writing and arithmetic are largely gone. Teachers are ordered to produce justice warriors instead. These vile teachers gladly comply. Needless to say, this doesn’t bode well for the nation’s children. The U.S. spends 38% more per pupil than the average of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries. The U.S. spends $15,500 per pupil per year, compared to OECD member nations at $11,300. Yet, as stated previously, The United States ranks 48th in math and science.
Attendance is down across the nation for both students and teachers. Supporting staff is commonly also missing in action. Inner city schools are all basically failing all across the nation.
There was once a bumper sticker that said, “If you can read this thank a teacher.” What happened? The Party of Chaos happened. The Department of Education needs to be abolished. One taxpayer dollar goes to Washington and 70 cents comes back to the school districts.
What do you feel about this today?
