The United States, along with NATO member Romania, is participating in military exercises in Moldova. These exercises started April 1 and run through April 19. Moldova has a border with Ukraine. This fact is obviously a great interest to the Party of Chaos.
The United States government has reached the unchecked level of spending $1 trillion every three months. The Middle Class of America is vanishing because of this spending.
Ratings agency Fitch has downgraded China’s sovereign bond credit from stable to negative because of debt fears. This follows Moody’s downgrade of China in December of last year. And this is good news for The United States. Yea!
Bad news for American consumers, which of course means everybody. For the fourth consecutive “print” the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has risen once again. Apparently there is no break for American consumers. Americans will continue to pay more for everything. Services jumped 3.9% in February to 4.8% in March. Enjoy. Not!
The FISA fiasco continues. The House of Representatives is set to vote on another FISA bill today. A previous bill did not pass the House. This bill reauthorizes Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) for two years. FISA allows the government to spy on foreign adversaries abroad who are communicating with American citizens. Update: The bill passed.
