The recent Consumer Price Index (CPI) which measures the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers, for a market basket of consumer goods and services, confirms the atrocious state of the American economy. This bad news shouldn’t be a surprise to any American. Bad economic news is commonplace under demented progressive-economics.

Inflation picked up in February. The CPI climbed 3.2% year over year last month, according to data released Tuesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That’s faster than the 3.1% pace set in January. The CPI climbed 0.4% last month, the government said, largely because of higher gas prices and housing costs.

Voting habits have consequences.
