Irish People Defeat Leftist Globalism

Last week, on International Women’s Day, the voters of Ireland defeated proposed changes to the Irish Constitution. These changes would have altered the definition of the family to include those who are not married. The other proposed change would have removed references to a mother’s duties in the home and encouraged all women to join the workplace instead.

A “Yes” vote was supported by all three liberal-government parties, as well as most of the opposition parties and the NGO world.

The proposed changes to the Irish Constitution, called the Family Amendment, was rejected by 67 per cent of Irish voters with their “No” vote.

The liberal Irish Government quickly conceded defeat in the referendum.

Thank you Irish voters.
